Most English to Urdu translators give you a word-for-word sentence that nobody actually speaks. Lens writes Urdu the way it is used in Pakistan: everyday words where they fit, common English loanwords like ویب سائٹ or ای میل kept as they are, and names, numbers, dates and prices left exactly as in the original.
Under every translation you also get آسان الفاظ میں, a one to three line explanation of what the text means for you and what you need to do. That is the part that helps with school notices, bank messages, office emails, medicine leaflets and legal letters.

Tips for better results
- Translate a full paragraph instead of one line at a time. Lens understands the context better and the Urdu reads more naturally.
- For an office email reply, choose the Professional style. For a WhatsApp message to family, choose Friendly.
- Set Explain in to Roman Urdu if you read Roman Urdu more easily than Urdu script.

Is this English to Urdu translator free?
Yes. Everyone gets free translations every day without an account. A free account adds 20 credits for longer texts, photos and PDFs.
Can I translate a whole paragraph or letter?
Yes. You can paste up to 3,000 characters without an account and up to 6,000 characters when signed in. Paragraph breaks are kept.
Does it give Roman Urdu too?
Yes. Every English to Urdu translation also comes in Roman Urdu, the way Pakistanis write on WhatsApp.
Can I translate English text from a photo?
